Vietnamese Badminton Star Nguyen Thuy Linh Joins Team Visa Athlete Program for Paris 2024

Nguyen Thuy Linh has earned a well-deserved place among the 117 global athletes selected to represent Visa's core values of equality, access, and inclusion. Since its inception in 2000, the Team Visa athlete program has provided steadfast support to over 600 Olympic and Paralympic athletes worldwide, recognizing their athletic achievements, community engagement, and alignment with Visa's core principles. The Paris 2024 cohort marks the largest and most diverse group in the program's history, with athletes from more than 60 countries and 40 sports.

As a representative athlete of Team Visa in Vietnam, Nguyen Thuy Linh's remarkable journey to the pinnacle of badminton is testament to her dedication and resilience. In October 2023, she made history by securing the 20th spot in the Badminton World Federation rankings, marking a significant milestone for Vietnamese badminton.
